I always vote. I have always taken each child with me from time of birth until they are old enough to stay home alone without me.
I really do think in order for us to teach our children the importance of this right, we need to show them.
We talk about the people running, issues, and any questions they have prior to election days. Or as the kids have dubbed it voting day. We talk about how important it is to vote and to know what you stand for and why you are voting for someone or something.
