All coins are created equal. I have seen a lot of posts that show saving, “Dimes for Disney”. Here in this household we don’t discriminate against pennies, nickels and quarters!
All of the coins we collect are good enough to save for our Disney 2017 Vacation!
These are not finished containers but the kiddos were overly excited to get their coin collection into their rightful Disney container.
So we had a time of learning what pennies, Nickles, dimes and quarters look like.
Later we will be painting each container in some way but for now this works. Each says what goes in it and each says “specific coin” for Disney. Each has a yellow Mikey head (it was the only paint marker I could find).
They are happy and that is all I care about! We are teaching them to save for something they want. We are teaching them to sort and learn about coins. We are spending time with each other. Best of all, they are excited and happy!
So we don’t discriminate coins for Disney in this house! They are all good enough to pay for our trip.
